With sadness, we announce the death of James (Jim) Byrne, Hawkin’s Lane, Tullow, suddenly at home. Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Mary and his parents James and Agnes. Adored father of Fidelma, David and Karen and cherished grandfather of Samantha, Ella, Jamie and Oscar. Sadly missed by his heartbroken sisters Mary (Furlong), Rita (Goulding) and Úna (Brennan), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, kind neighbours and a wide circle of friends and former work colleagues.

Reposing at Byrne’s Funeral Directors, The Square, Tullow, Co. Carlow (eircode R93 P4F4) on Tuesday 2 January from 3pm – 6.30pm. Removal will take place at 6.45pm to Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Tullow to arrive for Reception prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11am, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Tullow.
