We are saddened to announce the death of John (Chappie) Berry, Castlemore, Tullow, suddenly at his home. Adored husband of Nan and cherished father of Bridget, Mikey, Johnny, Josie, Mary, Tom, Elizabeth, Kathleen, Margaret, Angela, Andy and Eileen. Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Bridget, his sister Mary and his brothers Mike and Tom. Sadly missed by his brother Miley, his sisters Kathleen, Margaret, Elizabeth and Bridget, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, friends, neighbours and the local community.

Reposing at Byrne’s Funeral Directors, The Square, Tullow, Co. Carlow (eircode R93 P4F4) on Friday, January 12, from 3pm until 6.30pm and on Saturday from 3pm until 5.30pm. Removal will take place at 5.45pm to Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Tullow, to arrive for Reception prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Sunday at 2pm, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Tullow.
